A Wrinkle In Time Chapter 1

What happened in chapter 1 first of all a tornado/storm and Meg slept in the attic they had a Milo and sandwiches the characters Meg Mrs.Whatsit the twins Denny's and Sandy the story was set when the tornado/storm started what stood out to me Mrs.Whatsit being so stubborn and the tornado/storm and the twins being the fastest kids in the whole cross country race and sentences that are really describing it very well with what happened.

We are listing to the new book A Wrinkle In Time we have to describe what happened who the characters are and what stood the most out for you we are all listing notes so we can write them down in chapters.

What is Jesse's first impression of Leslie?

Jesse's first impression of Leslie is that Leslie introduced herself to Jesse and wanted to be friends with Jesse but Jesse didn't want to be friends with Leslie but they go on the same bus.

Leslie likes Jesse's art but he doesn't want her to see Jesse's art in his book but then they get off at the same place and Jesse just ignores Leslie.

Jesse is disappointed that Leslie is a girl and his little sister likes Leslie because Leslie gave Jesse's little sister a toy but Jesse still doesn't like Leslie.

Dedicating her life to care for the poor, particularly women, Catherine opened the House of Mercy in 1827.It was a facility built to house and educate poor women. In 1831 Catherine made her profession vows and created the Order of the Sisters of Mercy. They provided clothes and food for the poor. Rich families wanted to help so they gave Catherine money and she would help them get jobs so they could earn money. She travelled to France to learn how to teach in 1827. Mary, Catherine's sister died, then 2 years later in 1829, leaving Catherine as the legal guardian of nine children. In 1836,the Sisters of Mercy started setting up convents across great Britain, including one being founded in London in 1839.
